Thank you for visiting my website at whitetailwriter.com, and my blog, Rub Lines. I would say that not a day goes by that I’m not thinking about whitetails, or doing something related to hunting them, photographing them, or writing about them. Growing up in Pennsylvania, which has more licensed hunters than any other state in the country, I was surrounded by hunting and abundant deer herds. It was inevitable that I would at least take an interest in the sport. For some reason though, I developed an undescribable passion for whitetails at a very young age, and once I began hunting them, particularly with a bow, I was hooked for life.
I have been blessed by taking several trophy whitetails over my hunting career with archery equipment, and it is my pleasure to share my hunting adventures and experience with you.

I developed Rub Lines to provide a place for me to document my almost daily interractions with the whitetail world. I’ll write briefly about various topics throughout the year, and will publish a regularly updated hunting journal, which I invite you read. I will reserve whitetailwriter.com for my longer articles and stories, as well as links to the various publications that may publish my work.

It is my sincere hope that my passion for whitetails and hunting comes through in my posts, and that you’re motivitated to check back often. I invite you to leave a comment now and then, which always makes a blog more interesting for all who read it. Again, I thank you for visiting, and I hope our paths will cross again soon.
